Cold processing is inspired by the old tradition of the handmade soap industry and allows the properties and qualities of the oils used to be maintained. Through this method of processing the mixture is poured into frames of seasoned wood to allow the temperature to gradually decrease; for this reason it is left to rest for 72 hours before being cut by hand. Industrial soaps are hard and stony, as part of the glycerin is removed from them in order to obtain an economic product. Our soaps, on the other hand, are rich in glycerin, so much so that they can be easily cut: try the “knife test” yourself
